São Tomé e Príncipe: Directly on the equator. Africa’s second smallest country.

Welcome! Bem-Vindo!

This island nation captivates travelers with its unspoiled nature, secluded beaches, enchanted misty forests, impenetrable rainforest, and dozens of idyllic beaches. Tamarind Beach, Swimming Pool Beach, Coffee Beach, Banana Beach, and Shell Beach—these are just some of the melodious names of these beautiful places.

Arrival and Stay

You do not need to enter the country to apply for São Tomé and Príncipe citizenship through investment. However, if you would like to explore the country, that’s easy too: Most European Union citizens can stay for up to 15 days for tourism purposes without a visa.

Flight Connections and Attractions

A total of about a dozen international flights per week will take you comfortably to São Tomé via Lisbon, Accra, Luanda, or Libreville. Airlines flying to São Tomé and Príncipe include TAP Air Portugal, TAAG Angola Airlines, STP Airways, Afrijet, and Air Gabon. There are daily flights between the islands.

Once there, we definitely recommend visiting the Monte Café coffee plantation, taking a hike through the rainforest, relaxing on the beaches, and, if possible, catching a performance of the local street theater Auto de Floripes or Tchiloli.

Important Note on Applying for Citizenship of São Tomé and Príncipe Under the Citizenship by Investment Program

It is NOT possible to apply for citizenship by investment in person in São Tomé and Príncipe! Applications can only be submitted through authorized international partners (such as ARGO Fys GmbH, the operator of this website).
